When it comes to instilling values in their children, parents have a crucial role to play in shaping their character and guiding their moral development. Values are guiding principles or beliefs that inform our behavior, choices, and decisions.

- Resilience and adaptability. While resilience and adaptability are not considered values in themselves, they are often considered desirable qualities or skills, particularly in personal and professional environments. They are highly valued because they contribute to one’s ability to navigate through uncertain or challenging times, solve problems effectively, and thrive in dynamic and evolving situations. In essence, they can be seen as important traits that support personal growth, success, and well-being. Resilience refers to the ability to bounce back or recover from difficult situations, challenges, or adversity. It involves being able to withstand and adapt to setbacks, stress, or disruptions, and maintain a sense of stability and well-being.
Adaptability, on the other hand, refers to the capacity to adjust, modify, or change one’s thoughts, behaviors, or strategies in response to changing circumstances or requirements. It involves being flexible and open to new ideas, approaches, and solutions. The books that instill these two important qualities are: The Tiny House in the Countryside, The Little Girl and the Pope, Zenobia and her Dolls, The Magical Series, The Garden Portal (Available only in Spanish), The Monarch of Seychelles, Hututú, Lola Comes to the Amazon, included in the skirt of a dress from our line of STORYBOOK CLOTHING.
- Justice. Justice often refers to the quality of being fair, impartial, and morally right. It is one of the fundamental principles that underpin many legal systems and ethical frameworks. The pursuit of justice is often associated with the belief in fairness, equality, and ensuring that all individuals are treated justly. The books that instill these two important qualities are: Tiny, Enlightened State, The Nature Deity, The Guardian Fairy, Eevee, The Last Mermaid on Earth, The Little Girl and the Pope, Zenobia and her Dolls, The Magical Series, The Garden Portal (Available only in Spanish), The Monarch of Seychelles, Hututú.
- Love. As a therapist, Mom and Grandma, I hold in highest regard the virtue of love. While love is considered as an emotion or a state of being, I also see it as a virtue and yes, a state of being that must be cultivated. I am happy to say that all my books include a ton of examples about love. They are all over The Magical Series, collection, in the series titled, The Magical Heroes, and in every of my short stories.
- The Role of a Mother. Equally essential is that your child knows your value as a mother which involves the merit of what you do for her. Teaching children the value of what mothers do for them is important for several reasons. First and foremost, it helps children develop gratitude and appreciation for the love, care, and sacrifices their mothers make on their behalf. Recognizing and acknowledging the hard work and dedication that goes into parenting can foster a deep sense of respect and empathy towards their mothers. Secondly, teaching children about the value of motherhood promotes a more equitable and inclusive view of gender roles. It helps break down traditional stereotypes and encourages children to recognize that both mothers and fathers have important roles in raising a family.
Additionally, understanding the value of what mothers do can also inspire children to develop their own nurturing and care giving skills. It can instill in them a sense of responsibility and empathy, shaping them into caring and compassionate individuals in their own right. Overall, teaching children the value of what mothers do not only strengthens the bond between mothers and children but also contributes to the development of well-rounded individuals who appreciate and value the contributions of all caregivers in society. You will find examples of mother’s love throughout The Magical Series. These books showcase the unconditional love of Dolly, the last Grizzly Bear on Earth to her adoptive cubs and children she adopts throughout her journey in the Amazon Rainforest and in other habitats she encounters. Other books that shows the unparallel mother’s love is the story inside the outfit of our STORYBOOK CLOTHING, titled, Love of a Mother and a Son, The Garden Portal, Zenobia and her Dolls, and The Little Girl and the Pope.
- Christian Values. Lastly, but not least, for parents who want to instill Christian values in their children, we are launching a collection of church outfits called Dress in the Word of God. In this collection, we incorporate a few of the most important Biblical verses into the attire to promote children’s spiritual growth and character formation.
All these values are important because they contribute to the development of well-rounded individuals who possess strong character, compassion, and a sense of responsibility towards themselves and others. They provide a foundation for moral reasoning, empathy, and contribute to a child’s overall happiness and success in life.
